Hi there! I’m Meg. I am a writer and digital strategist living in the great city of Pittsburgh, and Measure with Coffee Spoons is my little slice of the internet.
I am a graduate of the University of Delaware. I have a B.A. in Mass Communication with minors in journalism and political communication. As a student at UD, I swam on the varsity swim team for three years and was a scholar athlete.
While in school, I joined the Student Television Network when I was a sophomore and I instantly fell in love with TV production. I became the Co-producer of the talk show “What in the Hall?!” my junior year, contributing to 10 episodes. As a senior, I became the Producer and worked to improve the show with each episode. I produced 10 episodes my senior year with a fantastic group of people.
During the summer of 2011, I was a news intern at WPXI in Pittsburgh, PA. At the end of the summer, I had the opportunity to work as a production assistant for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Lewes, Delaware. Also during my senior year, I worked as a production assistant for FuseTV for their Number One Countdown: Tailgating Edition.
I am currently a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist at BarkleyREI and the President and Communications Chair for the UD Pittsburgh Alumni Club. I enjoy swimming, running, and watching Grey’s Anatomy. I love wine and coffee and chocolate. I am always in the middle of a good book.
